Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank in Ahmedabad is seeking a Relationship Manager for the Corporate Liability Group. You will build a corporate liability strategy for the city/region and execute it by targeting top clients and converting them.

You will originate new to bank accounts, manage a growing portfolio, and collaborate with product and implementation teams to deliver cash and trade solutions while increasing wallet share across CMS, Trade, FX and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Origination of New to Bank (NTB) accounts and managing a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients sourced by oneself.
• Originate CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions from Cash Rich Corporate clients, onboarding them with solutions-based approach.
• Engage with founders of startups and online aggregators to provide cash and trade solutions and onboard them.
• Build Liquid Asset or Cash-backed Lending with short credit assessment memos.
• Develop relationships with PE/VC funds, incubators, law firms and CA firms to provide cash and trade solutions to investee companies.
• Manage relationships with existing clients, increase balances and throughputs, and maximize revenues from services; cross-sell salary and wealth products to enhance share of wallet.
• Collaborate with Product Sales Managers and Implementation teams across Banking products to achieve objectives.

Job Purpose

Develop a corporate liability strategy for a particular city/region and execute it. Target top clients in the coverage geography and convert them.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Origination of New to Bank (NTBs) accounts and managing (farming) a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients sourced by oneself.
• Originate CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions from Cash Rich Corporate clients, mainly from Digital First Companies, local IT/ITES firms and MNC subsidiaries. Onboard these clients with a solutions-based approach, developing unique solutions wherever required.
• Work with founders of well-funded start-ups, mainly online aggregators, e-commerce and fintech firms, to provide cash and trade solutions and onboard them.
• Build Liquid Asset OR Cash, backed Lending (short credit assessment memo).
• Develop deep relationships with PE/VC funds and Incubators to provide cash and trade solutions to their investee companies. Extend these influencer relationships to renowned law firms & Chartered Accounts as well.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and increase CA balances, term deposits, CMS/Trade/FX throughputs and maximize revenues from these services. Cross-sell other products of the bank like salary and wealth management to maximize share of wallet.
• Collaborate with the various Product Sales Managers and the Implementation teams across all Banking products to achieve these objectives.

Experience
