Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank Limited in Mumbai is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager for Corporate Liability. The role focuses on origination of new to bank accounts, building and managing a portfolio of corporate liability clients, and delivering cash and trade solutions.

You will work with startups, online platforms and fintechs to onboard clients, develop lending strategies and grow revenues through cross-selling and multi-product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Origination of New to Bank (NTBs) accounts and managing a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients.
• Originate CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions for cash-rich corporate clients and onboard them with solutions-based approaches.
• Engage with founders of startups, online aggregators, e-commerce and fintech firms to provide cash and trade solutions.
• Develop lending backed by cash and liquidity and perform credit assessments.
• Build relationships with PE/VC funds, incubators, law firms and CA firms to expand solutions.
• Maximize revenues by cross-selling bank products like salary and wealth management.
• Collaborate with Product Sales Managers and Implementation teams across banking products.

Role/Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager- Corporate Liability

Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking

Job Purpose

Develop a corporate liability strategy for a particular city/region and execute it. Target top clients in the coverage geography and convert them.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Origination of New to Bank (NTBs) accounts and managing (farming) a portfolio of Corporate Liability Group clients sourced by oneself.
• Originate CMS/Trade Processing/FX transactions from Cash Rich Corporate clients, mainly from Digital First Companies, local IT/ITES firms and MNC subsidiaries. Onboard these clients with a solutions-based approach, developing unique solutions wherever required.
• Work with founders of well-funded start-ups, mainly online aggregators, e-commerce and fintech firms, to provide cash and trade solutions and onboard them.
• Build Liquid Asset OR Cash, backed Lending (short credit assessment memo)
• Develop deep relationships with PE/VC funds and Incubators to provide cash and trade solutions to their investee companies. Extend these influencer relationships to renowned law firms & Chartered Accounts as well.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and increase CA balances, term deposits, CMS/Trade/FX throughputs and maximize revenues from these services. Cross-sell other products of the bank like salary and wealth management to maximize share of wallet.
• Collaborate with the various Product Sales Managers and the Implementation teams across all Banking products to achieve these objectives.
