Job summary

Universal Sompo General Insurance Co is seeking recruitment professionals to identify high‑potential agencies and empanel brokers to grow health and non‑motor business. You will recruit agents, provide regular trainings, and hold meetings to drive performance and activation.

You will monitor agent activity, share updates on guidelines, and maintain records to support informed business decisions. Prioritize risk awareness and process improvements through analytics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree required (UG/PG or 3-year diploma).
• Certifications in insurance and banking services are valued.
• 0–7 years of experience in insurance sales or recruitments.

Identify agencies/agents with high business potential to recruit quality agents/Empanelment brokers to drive business

Engage in recruitment of some different line of agents to focus on health and non-motor business, so to focus on segments of LOB and activation of recruited agents as per benchmark

Achieving Assigned PMS Target through intermediaries Mapped

Recruiting Agents and providing regular trainings and selling Insurance policies, Hold regular meetings/Interaction with agents, Lead Provider, Incendiaries and maintain records of the same in a planned systematic manner.

Provide daily information on USGI club status, update them on new guidelines of the company to generate fresh lead and Monitor agents and brokers business performance to ensure activation

Assess and consider all kinds of risk to make informed decisions and Maintain Loss ratio as per company requirement

Adherence to all trainings as assigned by the organization. Leverage resources, technology, and processes to drive innovation using predicative analytics for entire function, Streamline Internal Business Processes by reducing supervisory span.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or Degree: UG/PG/3 Years Diploma

Additional Qualification: Certifications in insurance and banking services are highly valued.

Experience: 0-7 Years

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Knowledge of Products: Sound market knowledge about the latest insurance products.
