Job summary

Bajaj finance limited invites applications for a Branch Manager to lead the branch team, grow the consumer gold loan business and expand the client base. You will provide direction, ensure policy compliance and drive initiatives to build customer loyalty and branch growth.

Key duties include overseeing operations, supervising field marketing, accurate gold ornament valuation, NPAs management, staff hiring and coaching, and reporting on performance to achieve sustained profitability.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility and products.
• Plan and monitor branch field-level marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and conversion.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Ensure accurate valuation of pledged gold ornaments and compliance with policy.
• Joint custodian of the Vault; safekeeping of pledged securities as per policy.
• Keep NPAs under control through follow-ups for interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor, train employees and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports for branch growth.
• Increase Gold Loan business and other products (NCDs, Gold Coins).
• Maintain 100% process compliance and accurate valuation.

Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj finance limited. The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations,performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility
• Plan,conduct monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers
• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of of pledged securities as per company policies
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.
