Job summary

NSK Staffing Solutions in Chennai is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-site role. You will provide direct patient care, assess patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and support daily living activities in line with clinical protocols.

You will coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams, maintain accurate records, uphold infection control and safety standards, and educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing qualification and active registration with nursing council.
• Experience in clinical nursing in hospital settings, preferably in medical-surgical, ICU, or emergency departments.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient assessment, medications, and infection control practices.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation and use hospital information systems as required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to ethical patient care, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Emergency response skills and basic life support (BLS); advanced life support (ALS) certification is an advantage.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple patients and prioritize care safely.
• Prior experience in Chennai-based or similar urban healthcare environments is a plus.
