Job summary

Qualifications

  • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Valid nursing registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.
  • 1–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their health conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
  • Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and medical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the concerned doctors.
  • Ensure proper infection control and follow hospital safety protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding medication, treatment, and post-care instructions.
  • Handle medical equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Follow all hospital policies, nursing standards, and ethical practices.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
