Job summary

INAMDAR MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist doctors during procedures. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, MNC registration, and ability to work in rotational shifts.

Freshers may apply; candidates with ICU, Emergency, OT, General Ward, NICU, or other specialty department experience will be preferred depending on vacancy. Fresh graduates encouraged.

Qualifications

  • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • MNC registration compulsory.
  • Good clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
  • Knowledge of medication administration, IV procedures, infection control, and emergency care.
  • BLS/CPR certification will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, intake/output, and clinical observations.
  • Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, dressings, and emergencies.
  • Perform pre-operative and post-operative nursing care where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and patient documentation.
  • Ensure proper infection-control and patient-safety practices.
  • Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment, hygiene, nutrition, and discharge instructions.
  • Conduct proper shift handover and maintain continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the ward and nursing equipment.
  • Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
  • Respond promptly to changes in the patient's condition and elevate concerns to the appropriate medical team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional, compassionate behavior toward patients and their families.
