Job summary

Freelance is building out a national sales structure for a fast-growing Indian industrial equipment manufacturer, and the North region is the first territory we're hiring for.

North region, Delhi-NCR and surrounding states, will be led by a regional team; you’ll drive new logo acquisition, build a qualified pipeline, and coordinate with service and technical teams to protect renewals and reference business.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in B2B industrial or capital-equipment sales.
• Led a team of 5–8 sales reps for 5+ years.
• Achieved annual quota > 50 crores as team lead for 3–5 years.
• Willingness to travel 15 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Own full revenue delivery for the North zone Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and the surrounding defence/PSU belt.
• Build a qualified pipeline across aerospace, defence, automotive, heavy engineering, electronics/EMS and nuclear accounts via self and team efforts.
• Direct coordination with service and technical teams to protect renewal and reference business.
• Operate within a four-person regional team with a weekly cadence and national Sales Head.

Regional Sales Manager, North (Industrial Capital Equipment)

We're building out a national sales structure for a fast-growing Indian industrial equipment manufacturer, and the North region is the first territory we're hiring for.

What the role owns:

• Full revenue delivery for the North zone Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and the surrounding defence/PSU belt
• New logo acquisition and build a qualified pipeline across aerospace, defence, automotive, heavy engineering, electronics/EMS and nuclear accounts via self and team efforts.
• Direct coordination with service and technical teams to protect renewal and reference business
• A disciplined weekly cadence with a national Sales Head who's building this out as a four-person regional team, not a solo assignment

Who we're looking for:

• 8–12 years in B2B industrial or capital-equipment sales, with real relationships already built in the North
• A track record of running the full sales cycle yourself — prospecting through tender response through closure — not just managing an existing account book
• Ability to build teams from scratch. Must have led a team of minimum 5-8 sales reps for at least 5+ years
• Must have achieved annual quota more than 50 crores as a team lead not just an individual contributor, every year for the last 3-5 years
• Genuine comfort with a field-heavy role: 15 days/month on the road is core to the job, not an occasional ask
• Government/PSU tender exposure is a strong plus, given the region's defence-sector weight
