Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the RTR process including month-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries and assess downstream impacts.
• Apply strong COA knowledge for proper accounting classifications.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel/Google Sheets for insights.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Proactively address RTR issues and guide team through resolutions.
• Communicate with clients to manage expectations and ensure timely delivery.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Record to Report (RTR) professional with strong expertise in month-end closing, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage accounting activities independently while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

RTR and month-end close:

Strong practical experience in Record to Report, including ownership and review of month-end close activities.

Journal entries:

Ability to prepare and review entries, understand upstream dependencies, and assess downstream accounting impacts.

Chart of Accounts:

Sound knowledge of account structures and appropriate accounting classifications.

Excel and Google Sheets:

Experience handling large datasets using advanced formulas and analytical techniques.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations:

Strong preparation and review skills, including investigation and resolution of reconciling items.

Problem-solving and ownership:

Proactive follow-up, timely stakeholder responses, and the ability to resolve RTR issues while guiding the team.
