Job summary

Veradigm seeks a detail-oriented Payment Operations Associate to ensure efficient processing, batching, tracking, scanning, and indexing of client payments and deposits. You will verify electronic funds transfers, resolve batch discrepancies, and update payment documentation across Revenue Cycle Services.

Based in Pune, this office-based role supports the RCS Operations and Client Services teams, requiring strong coordination, accuracy, and timely follow-up with clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Tracks discrepancies in the document storage system from charge batches that are missing information and sending back to the client.
• Pulls and re-scans as needed for clarity.
• Enters applicable information accurately into document storage indexing fields.
• Identifies and reports any discrepancies for resolution.
• Supports transfer of information from the FTP site into the document storage system for processing.
• Supports the retrieval of information from client lockboxes for processing.
• Ensures prompt return and follow up to requests for information.

Job description

Ensures the efficient and accurate processing, batching, tracking, scanning and indexing of client payments and deposits. Ensures client payment data are accurate, proactively verifies electronic funds transfers, resolves payment batch integrity issues, and updates payment documentation. Supports the overall RCS Operations and Client Services departments by efficiently and effectively assisting related Revenue Cycle Services process and procedures.

Work Location

• Work Location - Pune (Work from Office)
• Shift timings - (7:30 PM - 4:30 AM) IST

Responsibilities

• Tracks discrepancies in the document storage system from charge batches that are missing information and sending back to the client.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Basic knowledge on use of email, search engine, Internet, ability to effectively use payer websites and Laserfiche; knowledge and use of Microsoft Products: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Understands efficient and accurate payment processing methods, including batching, tracking, scanning, and indexing.
• Knowledge of how to handle and verify client payment data accurately.
• Familiarity with EFT processes and the ability to proactively verify EFT transactions.
• Awareness of payment documentation requirements and the ability to update relevant records.
• Ability to meticulously process payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Skill in resolving payment batch integrity issues promptly.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
• Efficiently managing tasks related to payment processing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks related to payment processing.
• Capacity to analyze payment data and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to work effectively within the RCS Operations and Client Services departments.
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
