Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a RCF_IC_Precast Structural Design engineer in Chennai with 3-6 years of experience. You will handle reinforced concrete design, precast construction, and interface with architectural and MEP inputs.

Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE and CONCISE BEAM is essential to deliver accurate drawings and tender deliverables. The role requires strong communication and teamwork, along with the ability to read complex drawings and prepare BOQs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast construction.
• Should be proficient with relevant codes and standards (IS, PCI, ACI, FIB).
• Experience in structural analysis software ETABS, SAFE and Concise Beam is required.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings and MEP inputs.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of buildings and precast elements.
• Prepares civil structural BOQs and technical deliverables for tender and operating jobs.
• Prepares and checks General arrangement and production drawings.
• Maintains good verbal and written communication; works well in a team.
