RCF invites a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our precast division in Chennai. The candidate will design reinforced concrete and precast elements, ensure compliance with IS/PCI/ACI/FIB standards, and use ETABS, SAFE, and CONCISE BEAM for analysis and detailing.

The role requires collaboration with architects, consultants and site teams to deliver safe, efficient designs and accurate GA/production drawings, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Experience in reinforced concrete design and precast construction.
• Familiar with IS, PCI, ACI, and relevant FIB manuals and standards.
• Proficient in structural analysis/design software (ETABS, SAFE, CONCISE BEAM).
• Able to read/interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
• Experience in preparing and checking general arrangement and production drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead reinforced concrete design for precast structures.
• Coordinate with architects, service consultants and site teams to ensure safe, buildable designs.
• Prepare and verify GA and production drawings for precast elements.
• Review drawings and documentation to meet project timelines and standards.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to align on design intent.

Job Description

The candidate must have experience and strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast concrete construction, connection details etc.He/ She should have expertise on relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, PCI manuals, ACI, relevant FIB manuals etc).Should have proficiency in structural analysis & design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE & CONCISE BEAM).Should have the ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.The candidate should have proficiency in the preparation and checking of General arrangement drawings and Production drawings.Coordinating with architects, service consultants, site etc., to reach agreement about safe designs and how they may fit in with the aesthetic concept of the constructionThe candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills & should be a team player.
