Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Precast Structural Design Engineer (O1/...) with 3–6 years of experience for Chennai. The candidate will handle RC precast construction, read drawings, and prepare tender deliverables. Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast concrete construction.
• Familiar with IS codes, PCI manuals, ACI and related standards.
• Proficiency in reading architectural, structural drawings and MEP inputs.
• Experience in preparing civil structural BOQs and technical deliverables for tender and operations.
• Ability to prepare and check General arrangement drawings and production drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail reinforced concrete precast structures for residential, commercial buildings and factories.
• Perform structural analysis using ETABS, SAFE and CONCISE BEAM and interpret results.
• Read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings to inform design.
• Prepare BOQs, technical deliverables, and tender documents.
