Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking experienced Precast Structural Design engineers for our Chennai team. The role focuses on reinforced concrete design, precast construction, and coordination with architects and MEP teams.

Applicants should have 6–9 years of experience and an MTech degree, with proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and CONCISE BEAM, and the ability to read GA drawings. They will ensure IS/PCI/ACI code compliance, deliver GA and production drawings, and interface with site teams to achieve safe,

Qualifications

• Experience and strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast concrete construction.
• Proficient with IS, PCI manuals, ACI, and relevant standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis & design software: ETABS, SAFE, CONCISE BEAM.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
• Proficiency in preparation and checking of GA and Production drawings.
• Strong verbal & written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Design and review RC and precast concrete elements.
• Develop and check General arrangement and Production drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, service consultants, and site to ensure safe designs.

Job Description

• The candidate must have experience and strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast concrete construction, connection details etc.
• He/ She should have expertise on relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, PCI manuals, ACI, relevant FIB manuals etc).
• Should have proficiency in structural analysis & design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE & CONCISE BEAM).
• Should have the ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
• The candidate should have proficiency in the preparation and checking of General arrangement drawings and Production drawings.
• Coordinating with architects, service consultants, site etc., to reach agreement about safe designs and how they may fit in with the aesthetic concept of the construction
• The candidate should have good verbal & written communication skills & should be a team player.
