Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks a structural engineer with hands-on experience in reinforced concrete design and precast construction. You will analyze buildings, read drawings, and prepare BOQs and technical deliverables for tenders.

Proficiency in IS, PCI, ACI and related manuals is required, along with strong skills in ETABS, SAFE and CONCISE BEAM. A collaborative mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience and strong knowledge of reinforced concrete design and precast construction.
• Proficiency with IS, PCI manuals, ACI and related standards.
• Skilled in structural analysis and design using ETABS, SAFE and Concise Beam.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings and MEP inputs.
• Experience preparing BOQs and technical deliverables for tender and operating jobs.
• Experience preparing and checking GA drawings and Production drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of building.

• He/ She should have expertise on relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, PCI manuals, ACI, relevant FIB manuals etc).
• Should have proficiency in structural analysis & design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE & CONCISE BEAM).
• Performs analysis of building
• Should have the ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings & MEP inputs.
