Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Survey Engineer to carry out surveying activities for construction execution at the project site in Mumbai. The role requires layout marking, level checking, and dimensional control of structural works.

You will coordinate with civil execution teams, tower incharges, and QA/QC to ensure survey accuracy and compliance with drawings and project benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Certification or training in Surveying / Total Station / AutoCAD / Survey Software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and survey coordinates.

Responsibilities

• Layout & Setting Out for columns, shear walls, beams, and slabs per approved drawings.
• Mark grid lines, column locations, and reference points using survey instruments.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks and reference levels for construction activities.
• Operate Total Station, Auto Level, and Dumpy Level for site measurements.
• Coordinate with tower incharges, engineers, and supervisors for survey requirements.
• Prepare survey reports and documentation for project records.
