Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct plot boundary surveys and demarcate boundaries as per city survey records, property cards, DP remarks and approved layouts.
• Carry out topographic and contour surveys of plots, including existing structures, trees, levels, drains and services.
• Mark setbacks, road widening lines, RG areas, and building footprints on site as per approved drawings.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points and survey control stations on site.
• Set out grid lines, column centre lines, pile points, footing and plinth points using coordinates.
• Assist with plinth checking and certification, and keep the supporting records.
• Transfer levels and lines to upper floors, and check verticality and alignment during construction.
• Coordinate with government land surveyors during joint measurement and boundary verification.
• Prepare survey drawings and reports in AutoCAD, and keep coordinate and level records up to date.
• Coordinate with the architect, structural consultant and site engineers to resolve discrepancies between site conditions and drawings.
• Maintain, check and calibrate survey instruments regularly.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct plot boundary surveys and demarcate boundaries as per city survey (CTS) records, property cards, DP remarks and approved layouts
• Carry out topographic and contour surveys of plots, including existing structures, trees, levels, drains and services
• Mark setbacks, road widening lines, RG areas, and building footprints on site as per approved drawings
• Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points and survey control stations on site
• Set out grid lines, column centre lines, pile points, footing and plinth points using coordinates
• Assist with plinth checking and certification, and keep the supporting records
• Transfer levels and lines to upper floors, and check verticality and alignment during construction
• Coordinate with government land surveyors (TILR/DILR) during joint measurement and boundary verification
• Prepare survey drawings and reports in AutoCAD, and keep coordinate and level records up to date
• Coordinate with the architect, structural consultant and site engineers to resolve discrepancies between site conditions and drawings
• Maintain, check and calibrate survey instruments regularly

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on with Total Station and Auto Level. DGPS experience preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for survey drawings and coordinate extraction
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
• Experience on high-rise residential or redevelopment projects.
• Willing to travel between sites
