PeopleStrong in Chennai seeks an HR professional with 3-6 years of experience to join as an HR Business Partnering expert across business functions. You will partner with project teams on day-to-day HR matters and support manpower planning.

Responsibilities include talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, performance management, HR operations, L&D, employee relations, compliance and analytics to drive workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • MBA / MSW / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
  • Knowledge of Labour Laws and HR Operations will be preferred.
  • Industry Preference Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Projects, Real Estate

Responsibilities

  • HR Business Partnering: Partner with assigned business functions and project teams on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Understand manpower requirements and support workforce planning activities.
  • Assist business managers in addressing employee concerns and people-related challenges.
  • Support implementation of HR initiatives and organizational programs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned functions/projects.
  • Source, screen, schedule, and coordinate interviews.
  • Track recruitment progress and hiring timelines.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Maintain strong candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Employee Engagement: Support implementation of employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Conduct employee feedback discussions and pulse checks.
  • Coordinate employee communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing town halls, celebrations, and employee connect programs.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Performance Management: Support goal-setting and performance review processes.
  • Coordinate annual and mid-year appraisal activities.
  • Follow up with employees and managers for timely completion of performance review activities.
  • Maintain performance management records and reports.
  • HR Operations & Lifecycle: Manage confirmations, transfers, promotions, separations; update records.
  • Coordinate with payroll and HR operations for transactions.
  • Facilitate exit interviews and attrition analysis.
  • Support HR policies and procedures.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training requirements; coordinate programs.
  • Maintain training records and effectiveness reports.
  • Support career progression initiatives.
  • Employee Relations: Address grievances; promote healthy employee-manager relations.
  • Promote welfare initiatives across locations.
  • HR Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to policies; participate in audits.
  • Documentation and record maintenance.
  • HR Analytics & MIS: Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards.

  • 8. HR Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to company policies and HR procedures.Support statutory and labour law compliance requirements.Participate in HR audits and compliance reviews.Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
