Job description

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on HR practices and policies to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a change agent to drive and manage organizational change initiatives.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Employee Relations:

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective inquiries.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee issues and implementing engagement initiatives.
  • Manage conflict resolution and provide coaching to managers on handling employee relations matters.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Talent management:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on conducting performance reviews and setting objectives.
  • Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify and address performance issues and develop action plans for improvement.

Capacity Building:

  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement relevant training, technical capability programs, and leadership development interventions.
  • Support apprenticeship programs (ITI/Diploma/Graduate trainees) and skill‑upgrade initiatives.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time
Keys to Success
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and business acumen.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing/plant HR processes.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, ER/IR fundamentals, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle large shift‑based workforce.
  • Data‑driven decision making and proficiency in HRIS, Excel, and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The incumbent reports to Head - HR Indiaand support him in all day to day activities to achieve the business objectives of the company

Requirements and Preferred Skills
  • Requires a MBA(HR)/MHRM/MSW.
  • Must have a minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in HR, Talent Management.
