The candidate will prepare policies, support RBI audits, and coordinate with the Board on RBI requirements while driving risk mitigation and regulatory adherence in a fast-paced NBFC environment.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of Regulatory / RBI Compliance experience.
• CA / CMA / CS / MBA or relevant graduate qualification.
• Hands-on RBI Compliance experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor RBI guidelines and regulatory circulars and ensure timely implementation.
• Advise process owners on regulatory requirements and compliance timelines.
• Review new proposals, partner tie-ups, processes and policy changes from a compliance perspective.
• Prepare and review compliance policies and documentation.
• Advise the Board and Board Committees on RBI compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns to RBI and other applicable regulators.
• Support RBI audits, regulatory inspections and compliance reviews.
• Identify compliance gaps, assess risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for timely closure of compliance observations.
