Job summary

Sahajanand Staffing is seeking a chemistry R&D professional with MSc in Chemistry and 3+ years of experience in specialty chemical synthesis. The role entails independent synthesis, route scouting, optimization, scale-up, and troubleshooting, with strong laboratory operations and documentation practices.

You will conduct literature research, manage chemical inventory, ensure safety, and monitor project progress across multiple R&D initiatives.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry with 3+ years of experience in Specialty Chemical / Chemical Synthesis R&D.
• Experience handling synthesis, route scouting, optimization, scale-up and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations, ELN documentation, inventory management, safety and project monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize compounds independently and optimize routes across projects.
• Scout routes and optimize reactions to improve yield and selectivity.
• Scale-up processes from lab to larger scales and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct literature research to support project development and experimental design.
