Job summary

Mouser is seeking a Staff quoting specialist in Bengaluru to coordinate regional quote activities, ensure timely responses, and act as the process expert for Mouser quoting. You will lead quoting teams, identify training needs, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and supplier teams.

The role emphasizes integrity, policy adherence, and the development of new strategies to improve quoting efficiency. Bachelor’s degree required and prior team management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Mouser quoting processes and procedures.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with Managers, Team Leads and Coordinators in other regional Quote Centers to ensure proper global coverage and timely customer responses.
• Act as a Staff resource on processes and procedures and assist Quote personnel as needed.
• Identify and define specific training needs and/or process improvements for management review.
• Assist in the development- and implementation of new strategies and process improvements.
• Communicate and coordinate with Sales, Products, and suppliers.
• Maintain and verify work instructions related to working quotes with specific suppliers.
• Track related statistics and measures to report, regularly, to management.
• A subject matter expert for all Mouser quoting processes.
• Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
• Exhibits working knowledge of sales and purchasing.
• Understands profit margins, markups, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Proficient PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software
• Excellent at written and clear verbal communication on the telephone, email or in person
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Experience managing a team is desired.
