Job summary

Polycab is seeking a dynamic Quick Service Depot Manager in Nashik district to oversee day-to-day warehouse and depot operations, manage inventory, ensure smooth logistics, and uphold safety standards.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely last-mile delivery, implement SOPs, conduct audits, and optimize space and material handling while adhering to local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inward, storage and dispatch activities
• Implement and monitor SOPs
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits
• Use WMS/ERP systems to track stock and ensure FIFO compliance
• Manage returns and resolve operational issues promptly
• Coordinate with sales and logistics teams for smooth operations
• Ensure timely last-mile delivery and adherence to TAT
• Plan and schedule deliveries and pickups as per customer requirements
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material handling
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations
• Conduct regular safety audits, training, and inspections
• Escalate and follow up on operational issues for timely resolution
