Job summary

Shree Vasu Logistics is seeking an experiencedWarehouse Operations Lead to manage end-to-end warehouse and depot activities at our Odisha facility. You will supervise 20–50+ staff, ensure timely receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch, while upholding SOPs, safety, and customer requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on Excel-based MIS reporting, and coordination with clients and transporters to maintain high service levels and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 48 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, 3PL, FMCG, Paint operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and dispatch processes.
• Good leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle 20–50+ manpower.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse/depot operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, DEOs, and support personnel.
• Ensure timely receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatch, and customer service as per agreed TAT.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, customer requirements, safety standards, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, transporters, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports using Advanced Excel.
• Manage manpower planning, productivity, attendance, and team performance.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse housekeeping, 5S, EHS, PPE, fire safety, and security protocols.
• Handle customer audits, internal audits, and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Resolve customer escalations and ensure high service levels.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members while ensuring adherence to company policies and SOPs.
