Job summary

Isprava, India’s premier luxury home developer, seeks an Assistant Manager Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years of experience in interior fit out projects. You will handle quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, bill certification, and cost control across luxury residences and hospitality developments.

Coordinate with Design, Site, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure accuracy, timely reporting, and adherence to budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of quantity surveying experience in interior fit out projects.
• Experience in luxury residential/villa/hospitality or high-end interiors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for construction and interior fit out works using project specs and AutoCAD.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and quantity summaries for tendering and execution.
• Review drawings to ensure completeness and identify quantity discrepancies.
• Conduct bill certification, measurement verification, and reconcile quantities.
• Monitor project costs and assist with cost control to meet budgets.
• Coordinate with Design, Site, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, and PM teams for smooth execution.
• Evaluate variations and amendments; prepare cost implications and reports.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Assistant Manager Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years of experience specializing in interior fit out projects, particularly within luxury residential, villa, hospitality, or commercial developments. The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, bill certification, and cost control, combined with excellent coordination skills to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity take offs for all construction and interior fit out works using AutoCAD and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and quantity summaries for tendering and execution purposes.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure completeness and identify discrepancies impacting cost and quantities.
• Conduct bill certification, measurement verification, and reconciliation of quantities.
• Monitor project costs and assist with cost control initiatives to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Coordinate closely with Design, Site, Contracts, Billing, Procurement, and Project Management teams for smooth project execution.
• Evaluate variations, additional works, and amendments; prepare corresponding cost implications.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of reports, estimates, and quantity records.
• Assist in vendor and subcontractor quantity verification and finalize account settlement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Required Skills

• 5+ Years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for luxury residential, villa, hospitality, commercial, or high end interior fit out projects.
• Strong skills in quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, bill certification, and cost control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and interior fit out practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high end luxury interior fit outs and villa developments.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and industry best practices.
• Capability to independently review drawings, identify quantity gaps, and raise technical queries when necessary.
