Surbana Jurong in Gurgaon seeks a Quantity Surveyor II with 5–10 years of experience in cost management and commercial oversight for civil and building projects.
You will prepare take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and review contractor submissions; monitor costs and variances through the project lifecycle. Coordination with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives is essential. Office presence in Gurgaon is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 5–10 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, and Commercial Management, preferably within buildings, infrastructure, or urban development projects. Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities for civil and construction works. Undertake measurement and valuation of works and review contractor submissions, interim payment applications, and final accounts. Support pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities. Assist in preparation of tender documentation, pricing schedules, cost plans, and bid evaluation. Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Review and assess variations, claims, and additional works in coordination with project and commercial teams. Support cost reporting, financial tracking, and commercial risk management. Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, project managers, and client representatives to resolve commercial and quantity-related issues. Ensure quantity surveying deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed project timelines and quality standards. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation. Knowledge of measurement standards, construction contracts, and relevant codes/practices. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS / cost management software; experience with BIM-based quantity take-off tools is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working on large-scale multidisciplinary projects and within a consulting environment will be preferred. Willingness to work from the Gurgaon office and collaborate with multidisciplinary and international project teams.
