Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a senior Structural Engineering leader to oversee the India and GDC structures discipline, driving technical excellence, standardization, and client satisfaction. You will shape proposals, lead multidisciplinary teams, and steer resource and financial management across projects.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, client engagement, and the ability to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced environment within Buildings & Cities sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Structures discipline for India and GDC; provide technical direction on complex structural projects.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the Structures discipline across India and GDC for B+C.
• Provide technical direction on complex structural engineering assignments.
• Establish engineering best practices and design standards.
• Ensure technical excellence across all structural deliverables.
• Ensure the on-time delivery, quality compliance, budget adherence and client satisfaction.

Business Development Partner with business to:

• Support proposals and bids.
• Prepare technical methodologies.
• Develop fee estimates.
• Participate in client presentations.
• Support key pursuits.
• Build client confidence through technical leadership.
• Identify new business opportunities within Buildings & Cities.

Resource Management

• Develop resource plans aligned with business forecasts.
• Manage utilization across India and GDC.
• Participate in hiring senior technical resources.
• Optimize project staffing.

Financial Management

• Support financial performance through:
• Resource optimization
• Margin improvement
• Fee estimation
• Cost control
• Productivity improvement
• Forecasting
• Contribute towards achieving business profitability targets.

Stakeholder Management

People Management Enhance the existing team further to deliver domestic core structure design projects.

He/She should have good experience in managing structural design teams working in all market sectors- residential, commercial, industrial, institutional etc.
