Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Urban Designer in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, to lead master planning and urban design initiatives for city-scale projects. The role requires 10+ years of experience, proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and planning tools, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders for regulatory compliance and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Urban Design (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in urban design.
• Experience on government, smart city, township, or urban development projects.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office, and planning software/tools.
• Strong report writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Indian urban planning policies, regulations, and development frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare master plans, development plans, and urban design proposals for city-level and regional projects.
