Job summary

Vishal Infrastructure Limited is looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Bengaluru to handle quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and contractBilling. The candidate should possess 0–3 years of Civil Engineering experience with proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and experience with BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and subcontractor billing. You will coordinate with site teams and support tendering efforts.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of cost control and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD and billing software.
• Familiarity with contracts, tendering, and billing procedures.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and verify RA bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Conduct rate analysis for construction activities.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and track variations and extra items.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Evaluate subcontractor bills and certify payments.
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, bills, and cost reports.
• Assist in tendering process including cost estimation and bid preparation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
