Job summary

alfanar is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor in Chennai to lead pre-bid estimation and quantity surveying for building, infrastructure, and power projects. You will review architectural, structural and MEP drawings to prepare accurate take-offs and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.

The role requires 8-12 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PlanSwift and MS Office, and a strong understanding of international measurement standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 8-12 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferrably in Pre-Bid Estimation.
• Strong knowledge of Building & Infrastructure, Power Plant, Substation and Transmission Line projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit (BIM), PlanSwift and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, building systems, finishing materials and specs.
• Knowledge of international measurement standards: NRM 1/2/3, SMM7, CESMM.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
