Job summary

Pragna Test House & Engineering Services is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control, billing, and estimation for civil engineering projects. The role involves preparing BOQ, tender docs, and estimates from drawings and ensuring billing accuracy.

You will collaborate with project teams, monitor progress through site visits, and generate monthly bill status certificates while maintaining data-driven reporting using MS Excel.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in quantity surveying/estimation/billing for civil projects.
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate cost control through regular monitoring of project expenses against budgets.
  
• Manage contractor billing, client billing, and quantity estimation for civil engineering projects.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing.
  
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and prepare monthly bill status certificates (BOQ vs. actual).
  
• Prepare BOQ, tender documents, and estimates from drawings.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in quantity surveying/quantity estimation/client billing/contractor billing/civil engineering.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
  
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel) for data analysis and reporting purposes.
