Job summary

Dipanshu Promoter & Builder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Planning & Billing to manage quantity estimation, project planning, billing, cost control and progress monitoring for construction and interior fit-out projects.

The role requires expertise in BOQ preparation, client and contractor billing, rate analysis and cost estimation, and project scheduling using MS Project/Primavera; experience with EPC-government projects is a plus. Patna-based position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in quantity surveying, planning and billing for construction/interior fit-out projects; multiple sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs based on drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare and verify client bills, contractor bills, RA bills, and final bills.
• Measure work executed at site and certify quantities for billing.
• Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and quantity take-offs for construction and interior works.
• Develop and update project schedules using MS Project/Primavera.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with site execution, MEP, procurement, and design teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Track material consumption and compare with BOQ quantities to control project costs.
• Prepare budget forecasts, cash flow projections, and cost reports.
• Monitor variations, extra items, and change orders, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Verify subcontractor work quantities and process payment certifications.
• Maintain project documentation, measurement sheets, billing records, and MIS reports.
• Identify project delays and recommend recovery plans to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, and company procedures.
• Support tendering activities by preparing quantity estimates and cost comparisons.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors for billing approvals and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 610 years of experience in quantity surveying, planning, and billing for construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or corporate interior projects will be preferred.
