Job summary

Curo India Private Limited in New Delhi is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and contractual aspects of construction projects. You will own quantity take-offs, cost planning and cost control from early estimation through tendering and execution, coordinating with project managers, engineers and contractors on-site.

The role requires travel to project sites and a strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and budget compliance to ensure projects stay financially on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Excel and relevant QS software.
• Strong BOQ preparation and quantity measurement skills.
• Experience in cost management and cost control for construction projects.
• Experience in cost planning and cost reporting to support budgeting and financial tracking.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements accurately.
• Support cost estimation for new projects.

• Monitor project costs daily and flag deviations from budget early.
• Prepare and update regular cost reports for management.

About the Role

Curo India Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost side of our construction projects. You will own quantity take-offs, cost planning and cost control from early estimation through tendering and execution, working closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to keep every project financially on track.

The role is based at our New Delhi office. You should be willing to travel to, and spend time at, project sites wherever construction is under way.

Key Responsibilities

Quantities and Estimation

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and specifications
• Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements accurately
• Support cost estimation for new projects

Cost Planning and Control

• Develop cost plans and budgets for new and ongoing projects
• Monitor project costs daily and flag deviations from budget early
• Prepare and update regular cost reports for management

Tendering and Contracts

• Assist in preparing tender documents
• Evaluate contractor bids and prepare comparative statements
• Analyse, assess and value variations and change orders

Value Engineering and Coordination

• Contribute to value engineering and budget optimisation without compromising quality
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure accurate financial tracking
• Maintain complete, well-organised cost and contract documentation

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or estimation software
• Strong BOQ preparation and quantity measurement skills
• Working knowledge of cost management and cost control for construction projects
• Experience in cost planning and cost reporting to support budgeting and financial tracking
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and analytical ability
• Clear communication and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred: Experience on residential, commercial or infrastructure projects.
