Siemens Energy India Limited invites a Quality Test Professional for High Voltage Testfield with 10–15 years’ hands-on testing of transformers, reactors and distribution transformers. The role emphasizes safety, in-process testing, and adherence to IS/IEC/IEEE standards.

You will prepare Test Certificates, calibrate instruments, and support NABL/ISO 17025 compliance while engaging with customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 10-15 years of experience in testing transformers, reactors and distribution transformers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with electrical testing, control panels/PLCs and safety practices is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to work with technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process testing of transformers and reactors.
• Conduct routine, type and special tests per IS/IEC/IEEE standards.
• Prepare Test Certificates and calibrate testing instruments.
• Coordinate with customers during inspections and ensure NABL/ISO 17025 compliance.
• Assist in testing of control panels and panel accessories during final testing.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Knowledge of safety system and preventive measures during high voltage testing
• In-process testing of Transformers and Reactors
• Performing routine, type, and special tests on transformers/reactors according to IS/IEC/IEEE
• standards
• Knowledge and hands on experience of Lightning/Switching Impulse and Partial Discharge testing
• Handling customer inspections independently
• Knowhow of NABL requirements according to ISO/IEC 17025: 2017
• Testing of Control Panels – Inspection at supplier end
• Panel accessories fitting at factory
• Panel testing after fitting of all accessories during final testing in presence of customer.
• Preparation of Test Certificates
• Calibration of Test Instruments / Equipments
• Maintenance of testing equipment’s
• Awareness on requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Proficiency in Soft Skills like Word, Excel, PPT, Auto CAD, etc. - Preferred

About the team

We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
