Job summary

Quality HR India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Quality Supervisor for our Vapi plant. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in the automobile sector and focuses on painting processes and quality inspections.

The successful candidate will monitor process quality, inspect painted parts, and drive root-cause analyses to eliminate defects. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for guiding inspectors and maintaining 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Plastic or Mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of quality systems and process control.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the painting process.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of painted parts.
• Identify and resolve paint defects (dust, lint, orange peel, etc.).
• Maintain daily rejection and rework data.
• Handle customer complaints with timely resolution.
• Apply root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Guide and train inspectors to improve quality.
• Ensure 5S and safety compliance.
• Conduct product and process audits.
• Track and improve PPM performance.
• Prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Maintain quality documentation accurately.

• Identify and resolve paint defects (Dust, Lint, Orange Peel, Cissing, Run Down, etc.).
• Maintain daily rejection and rework data.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Apply root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
• Guide and train inspectors to strengthen quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and safety practices.
• Conduct product and process audits.
• Track and improve PPM (Parts Per Million) performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation.
