Job summary

ABB Motion, based in Ahmedabad, India, is seeking a software-aware Electrical/Automation engineer to contribute to R&D projects. You will work as a reliable contributor, applying your VFD/PLC knowledge to solve problems and support target delivery in quality, time, and cost.

The role is onsite with collaboration across product engineering and development teams. You will stay abreast of state-of-the-art technologies, participate in structured programming, and help implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation required.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (low voltage).
• Background in programming for VFD and PLC.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
• Embedded programming knowledge is a plus.
