Job summary

ABB's Nashik site seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional to support the deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit, ensuring customer expectations are met for Vacuum Interrupters and MV switchgear.

You will analyze data, identify risks, facilitate robust root cause analysis, and drive preventive and corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class quality in ABB’s Electrification Distribution Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (full-time).
• 6–8 years in Quality Assurance, in-process inspection, testing and handling customer complaints for Vacuum Interrupters or MV switchgear.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC standards, Lean Six Sigma, SAP-QM and quality tools.
• Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Very strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Support deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit, including quality culture, systems, tools and competent teams.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities related to quality management in the local organization.
• Use quality data analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances.
