Job summary

HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd. requires a Quality Resident Engineer CRE (M/F/D) at Dhankot, Haryana. You will act as the primary quality interface at the customer facility, coordinating product-issue communications with the customer and internal teams.

You will analyze defects in real time, oversee containment and corrective actions, and support new product launches with on-site coordination of HELLA Quality Resident Workers. The role demands hands-on testing and data reporting.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electronics or related field.
• 4–8 years of automotive industry experience.
• Experience as interface to customer quality teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as interface to the customer at the customer facility and provides primary quality support.
• Coordinates communication about product issues at the customer plant, interfacing with assembly line and customer supplier quality.
• Analyzes customer product issues in real time and performs first defects analysis.
• Interfaces with customer assembly, logistics and engineering personnel; monitors daily issues.
• Repairs and re-tests defective parts (leak testing, function testing and electronic performance testing).
• Organizes containment and reaction measures for suspect product at the customer site.
• Reports status of corrective actions and monitors effectiveness at the customer assembly plant.
• Collects and reports quality data.
• Monitors costs associated with customer plant returns.
• Attends customer meetings and product reviews regularly.
• Acts as site coordinator for new or revised product launches.
• Makes a circuit of the assembly plant and inventory locations daily to monitor defects.
• Coordinates HELLA Quality Resident Workers at the customer site.
• Participates in development and quality reviews with customer feedback.
• Visits customer assembly line and inventory locations; reports defects.
• Able to sort and rework suspected parts per work instruction from HELLA Quality Customer Management.

YOUR TASKS

Job Objective

• Acts as interface to the customer at the customer facility and gives primary customer quality support.
• Coordinate communication concerning product issues at customer plant. Moves about the production facility, interfacing with the assembly line and the customer supplier quality organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Acts as interface to the customer at the customer facility and gives primary customer quality support specified product characteristics for products in production to achieve a maximum of customer satisfaction.
• Analyzes customer product issues on a real-time basis and performs first defects analysis. Interprets testing results. Interfaces on a timely basis with the customer assembly, logistics and engineering personnel. Monitors and reports daily customer issues.
• Repairs and re-tests (leak testing, function test and electronic performance testing) defective parts as and when required.
• Responsible for organizing the containment and reaction measures for any suspect product at the customer location including supervision of 3rd party staff.
• Reports status of corrective actions and monitors effectiveness in the customer assembly plant.
• Responsible for collecting and reporting of quality data.
• Responsible for warranty items returned to Hella Production site.
• Monitors and administers costs associated with customer plant returns.
• Attends customer meetings and product reviews on a regular basis.
• Acts as site coordinator for any new or revised product launches.
• Makes a circuit of the assembly plant and inventory locations on a daily basis to monitor and report defects.
• Coordinates the HELLA Quality Resident Workers at the customer site.
• Actively participate in development and quality reviews, including feedback from customer / system testing.
• Visit customer assembly line, support inventory locations - warehouse and report defects.
• Able to sort and rework suspected parts according work instruction received from Hella Quality Customer Management.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate in Electronics (BE/Btech)
• Experience in Automotive Industry with Min 4 to Max 8 years
