Job summary

Triveni Electroplast Pvt Ltd, Prayagraj, seeks a Quality Manager – Paint Shop to lead paint quality activities for radiators and structural components on site. You will ensure adherence to customer specs and standards, manage inspections, and drive CAPA from a dedicated quality team.

The role requires 8–10 years in paint shop quality, with Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Paint Technology, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and corrosion protection standards. On-site position in Allahabad.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Paint Technology required.
• 8–10 years of experience in paint shop quality controls.
• Experience in transformer radiators, tanks or heavy engineering fabrication preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and painting/corrosion protection standards.
• Strong root cause analysis and CAPA capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage paint shop quality activities for radiators and structural components as per customer specifications and applicable standards.
• Ensure quality control of surface preparation, degreasing, shot blasting, primer application, and final coating.
• Monitor coating thickness (DFT), adhesion, surface finish, color, curing, and corrosion protection.
• Conduct inspections and testing, identify paint defects, and implement root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality management systems, and applicable painting standards.
• Reduce paint rejection, rework, and material consumption through continuous improvement.
• Lead and train the quality team, coordinate with production and other departments, and maintain quality documentation with reports and lead quality audits.

Role Description

The Quality Manager – Paint Shop is a full-time, on-site role based in Allahabad,

Technical Knowledge:

Good understanding of surface preparation , shot blasting, primer application.

Standards:

Familiarity with ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and applicable painting and corrosion protection standards.

Competencies:

Root cause analysis, CAPA, quality audits, team handling, documentation, and coordination with production.
