Orkla India in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure GMP and HACCP compliance within the division's Quality Management System, and to investigate non-conforming material and product for root causes.
The role emphasizes SAP-based material and product release, adherence to SOPs/SSOPs, contributing to continual improvement, coordination with QA Manager and operations teams to maintain consistent, safe, high-quality outputs.
To ensure compliance of GMP & HACCP requirements as per the Quality Management system at the division.
Investigate non-conforming material, components and product for causes and ensure corrective action as continual environment.
To check and verify the finished product and packing quality before entering into the next step of production.
Follow work procedures & guidelines for processing house quality and their implementation.
To regularize and improve the quality of MIS of all concerned areas in shift operations
Process: Responsible and Instrumental in Process control and clearance of Raw material, Semi-finished & Finished goods in SAP platform on day-to-day basis
Reporting Deviations to QA Manager and building QIPs” for continual improvement of the process & system
Responsible for QA audits compliance by various agencies including USFDA, CFIA, FSSAI, DNV, HALAL, INDIAN ARMY, SPICES BOARD, VERTINARY CERTIFICATION, etc.
Closely working with Divisional Production Manager for compliance of SOPs, SSOPs.
Provide technical guidelines to the category production Manager in developing systems.
Strong process orientation - In plant process that help operations conceive the relationship between an agreed process and quality.
Strong understanding on the Agro origin raw materials, storage practices and varietal validation process to maintain consistency of the products from batch to batch.
Effectively be a quality leader and help ensure “Quality” produce working closely with both Supply chain Manager (OFSS Standard adherence) and Production Manager, while actively communicating to the QA Manager.
Build technical strengths in newer emerging technical areas on Food Safety in the category
Act as a facilitator in “Quality Enabling” through Providing support to “Operations development” on quality (Training operators on PRPs, OPRPs, CCPs.
Analytical skills in Laboratory for analysis of In-coming RM’s and quick appraisal
