Job summary

JobItUs in Vadodara is seeking a Production & Quality coordinator to streamline fabrication, manage inspections, and ensure timely delivery of equipment. You will guide production supervisors, coordinate with stores and purchasing, maintain quality documentation, and report weekly production status while driving waste reduction and on-time dispatch.

You will also update daily bar charts, participate in calibration, and ensure final technical documents are prepared for client submission,

Responsibilities

• Receive drawings and issue to production supervisors.
• Guide production supervisors to proper job distribution as per delivery schedule.
• Monitor production status and prioritize to meet targets.
• Prepare and finalize lay-up sequences of jobs.
• Inspect raw materials and verify test certificates.
• Conduct stage-wise and final inspections of all jobs.
• Inspect bought-out items at vendors' sites.
• Perform cut-out/coupon testing of various jobs.
• Maintain QA documentation for various jobs.
• Coordinate with clients/third parties for inspections.
• Manage client and third-party inspections.
• Obtain dispatch clearance from client and TPI.
• Submit final technical documents to clients for all jobs.
• Calibrate various instruments.
• Update daily bar charts and follow up with trainee engineers.
• Execute production plans for all jobs as per schedule.
• Pre-plan fabrication against delivery date.
• Utilize manpower, materials and machinery efficiently.
• Minimize raw material stock and waste.
• Plan manpower with junior engineers and supervisors.
• Update bar charts with production engineers daily.
• Plan weekly/total production with the team and kickoff meetings.

Job description

Production & Quality :

• Receive Drawings from drawing department and issue the same to production supervisors.
• Guiding production supervisors to proper job distribution as per delivery schedule.
• Monitoring of Production status and leveling up the Priorities to meet the targets.
• Prepare and Finalize the lay-up sequences of jobs.
• Raw material inspections & verification of test Certificates.
• Stage wise inspection & final inspection of all jobs.
• Bought out items inspection at vendors place.
• Cut-out/coupon testing of various jobs .
• Reporting/ Quality Documentation of various jobs.
• Co-ordination with clients/Third party for stage wise and final inspections.
• Handling client and third party inspections.
• Getting Dispatch clearance from client and TPI.
• Submissions of Final Technical documents to clients for all jobs.
• Calibration of Various instruments
• Daily Bar chart updation & follow up with trainee engineers

Production execution of all works :

• Production Plan execution of all jobs at all works as per schedule received
• Pre-planning of Job Fabrication against delivery Date of Equipment.
• Ensure Proper Utilization of Manpower, Material & Machinery
• Minimization of Raw Material Stock & Wastage reduction checking.
• Manpower planning with Jr engineers and supervisors
• Updating bar chart with the help of production engineers / supervisors on daily basis
• Total execution planning with production team for new jobs and discuss with Asst manager projects during kick off meeting

Coordination with Stores :

• Follow-up regarding raw material status of various jobs.
• Follow-up regarding bought out items status of various jobs.
• Prepare/maintain a daily report of material requirement of various jobs summary sheet

Coordination With Purchase Department

• Follow-up for purchase orders of bought-out items and raw materials.
• Giving/checking saddles requisitions /packing arrangements of various jobs. Follow-up for receipt of items.

Documentation

• Maintain and update record of Final Technical Documentation of each jobs (Both in Soft & Hard copy)
• Production status updating weekly and highlight the delays
• Weekly report of jobs issued at workshops
• Current week plan review & plan for next week
• Daily Bar chart updating & follow up with trainee engineers
• Weekly manpower report
• Summary of Monthly production plan
• Stage wise inspection report-Layup mould check, sequence, spark test, Nozzle check and Visual check before & after pigmentation etc.
• Training & Qualification records of technicians like welder & molder qualification.
• Bill Of materials/Loose items list preparation
