Job summary

Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd. in Bavla, Gujarat, is seeking a Deputy Manager-Production to oversee daily manufacturing and packing operations. You will supervise activities, ensure online documentation (BMR/BPR, logs, calibrations) is accurate, and coordinate with QA, QC, F&D, and engineering to meet targets.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of process validation, SOPs, and SAP-based transactions, with a focus on safety and cost efficiency. Experience in training line personnel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of process validation batch execution and related documentation.
• SOP/BMR/BPR preparation and review experience.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality and GMP compliant practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise day-to-day manufacturing and packing activities.
• Ensure online documentation entries and review of BMR, BPR, daily logs and calibration records.
• Coordinate with F&D, ADL, QA, QC, warehouse and engineering for production activities.
• Knowledge of SOP, BMR, BPR preparations and periodic reviews.
• Monitor equipment/instrument qualification and related documents.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Adhere to quality management system changes, deviations and CAPA.
• Demonstrate SAP-based transactions in manufacturing workflows.

Location: Bavla, Gujarat, IN

• Day-to-day shift-wise manufacturing/packing planning and execution as per manufacturing targets.
• Supervision of day-to-day manufacturing/packing activities.
• Ensuring online documentation entries and review of documents such as BMR, BPR, daily logs, weighing balance calibration records, etc.; coordination with F&D, ADL, QA, QC, warehouse and engineering departments for day-to-day formulation & development activities and production activities.
• Knowledge about process validation batch execution and all related documentation.
• Knowledge about the preparation of SOPs and conduct of periodic SOP reviews and training.
• Knowledge about SOP, BMR, BPR preparations/review.
• Monitoring and timely completion of equipment/instruments qualification and related documents.
• Knowledge about troubleshooting for the manufacturing process & equipment.
• Knowledge about quality management system aspects such as change control, deviation, investigations & CAPA.
• SAP knowledge for manufacturing related transactions.
• Manpower management skill.
• Adherence to safety norms and maintaining manufacturing area readiness for audits.
• Ability to train line personnel for productivity.
