Job summary

TKIL is seeking a Site Quality Lead to oversee field quality plans and inspections across multiple sites in India. You will coordinate third party inspection activities and ensure compliance with technical standards and codes.

You will guide Site QC engineers during fabrication and erection, review welding procedures and radiographs, and drive the QMS with accurate site documentation and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field Quality Plans and Inspection Procedures.
• Familiarity with Welding Procedures and Welder Qualifications.
• Experience in Review/Witness of Radiographs and UT of welds.
• Hands-on use of inspection equipment (theodolite, dumpy level, total station).
• Coordination with Third Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA) for Site QC.
• Experience implementing Quality Management System (QMS) and document reviews.
• SAP QM knowledge for site quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Inspection Reports / Site Protocols and other Site Quality documents.
• Manage inspection activities across multiple sites and allocate resources.
• Guide Site QC Engineers during fabrication and erection.
• Coordinate with other departments to address site quality issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis for site quality problems.

Shall possess competency for

• Preparation of Field Quality Plans and Inspection Procedures.
• Design drawings study and Interpretation of Technical Specifications, Standards & Codes.
• Inspection during Structural & Equipment fabrication and erection.
• Review / Witness of Welding Procedures & Welder Qualifications.
• Review of Radiographs / Witness of UT of welds.
• Hands-on experience in using Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment / Instruments including theodolite / dumpy level / total station.
• Preparation of Inspection Reports / Site Protocols and other relevant Site Quality documentation.
• Work allocation & resource planning for Site QC activities.
• Coordinating with Third Party Inspection Agencies & Site QC Engineers for Site QC activities.
• Monitoring and managing multiple sites for Site QA activities performed by Third Party Agency.
• Implementation of Quality Management System including document preparation and review.
• Guidance to Site QC Engineers during Site fabrication and erection
• Implementation, Monitoring and control of Dept. Objectives and KPIs.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis for Site Quality issues, Product non-conformities, Customer feedbacks etc.
• Co-ordination with other Divns. /Depts. in the organization on all matters relating to Site Quality.
