Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Lead – Quality – MEP & Structural Steel – Site to assist in quality checks, documentation, and inspection-related tasks for MEP systems and structural steel works on site.

You will support engineers to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, and client requirements through routine inspection, reporting, and test coordination at the site.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA/QC engineers in inspections for electrical conduit works, cable tray installation, plumbing and piping layouts, HVAC ductwork, and fire-fighting installations to ensure alignment with approved shop drawings and quality standards.
• Support in checking welding quality, bolt tightening, and structural steel erection, including verifying alignment, orientation, painting, and galvanizing compliance as per drawings and codes.
• Participate in inspection of incoming MEP and steel materials, such as pipes, cables, motors, panels, valves, steel sections, and fasteners, ensuring proper storage, tagging, and certification.
• Help coordinate with labs and third-party agencies for conducting NDT, pressure tests, megger tests, and functional performance checks of MEP systems and steel connections.
