Job summary

Tkil is seeking a Site Quality Engineer to oversee Field Quality Plans, inspection procedures, and witnessing welding procedures during fabrication and erection. The role requires hands-on use of precision instruments and coordination with third-party inspectors on multiple sites.

The candidate will ensure quality management system implementation, site documentation, and KPI alignment, guiding Site QC engineers through critical fabrication stages and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Preparation of Field Quality Plans and Inspection Procedures.
• Study of design drawings and interpretation of Technical Specifications, Standards & Codes.
• Inspection during Structural & Equipment fabrication and erection.
• Review/Witness of Welding Procedures & Welder Qualifications.
• Review of Radiographs / Witness of UT of welds.
• Hands-on experience in using Inspection, Measuring & Test Equipment / Instruments including theodolite / dumpy level / total station.
• Preparation of Inspection Reports/ Site Protocols and other relevant Site Quality documentation.
• Work allocation & resource planning for Site QC activities.
• Coordinating with Third-Party Inspection Agencies & Site QC Engineers for Site QC activities.
• Monitoring and managing multiple sites for Site QA activities performed by Third Party Agency.
• Implementation of Quality Management System including document preparation and review.
• Guidance to Site QC Engineers during Site fabrication and erection.
• Implementation, Monitoring and control of Dept. Objectives and KPIs.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis for Site Quality issues, Product non-conformities, Customer feedback etc.
• Co-ordination with other Divs./Depts. in the organization on all matters relating to Site Quality.
• Conversant with working in SAP–QM

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Site QC activities across multiple sites.
• Monitor and guide Site QC Engineers during fabrication and erection.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with SAP–QM workflows.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Third-Party Agencies and other departments on site quality matters.
