Job summary

Ashish Constructions is seeking a Senior Civil Quality Lead to oversee all site quality activities at our Ahmedabad project sites. You will inspect earthwork, RCC, and finishing works, review drawings and method statements, and ensure materials meet approved specs and IS codes.

The role requires a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with extensive experience in civil construction. You will prepare ITPs, MIRs, NCRs, and lead audits, coordinating with clients and management to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 37 years of experience in civil construction/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of RCC, earthwork, finishing works and construction materials.
• Knowledge of applicable IS Codes and construction quality standards.
• Experience in preparing ITPs, inspection checklists, MIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle site quality activities and client/consultant inspections.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure quality of all civil construction activities at site.
• Inspect earthwork, excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Verify construction work as per drawings, specifications, BOQ, and method statements.
• Maintain material inspection and testing records.
• Coordinate with laboratories for concrete, soil, steel, aggregate testing.
• Check RCC works, reinforcement detailing, concrete pouring, cube testing, slump testing, and curing procedures.
• Ensure inspection of incoming materials and maintain MIRs.
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, checklists, quality reports, test reports, and inspection records.
• Raise and close NCRs and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, PM, Planning Engineer, and Site Execution Team for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, project specs, drawings, and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues early.
• Maintain documentation for handover and audits.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Review method statements and submittals from quality perspective.
• Ensure sampling, testing, and approval of materials before use.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams on quality requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

• Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, Project Manager, Planning Engineer, and Site Execution Team for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
