Job summary

Kored Infratech is seeking a Quality Engineer with 2+ years of construction QC experience to implement and monitor quality control procedures at site. You will inspect works, ensure adherence to drawings and standards, and coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues.

The role requires knowledge of RCC, shuttering, concrete, and IS codes; proficiency in MS Office is preferred. Experience with ITPs, test reports, and CAPA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QC/Quality Engineer in construction.
• Building construction experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works.
• Knowledge of IS codes and construction quality standards.
• Experience in preparing ITP, checklists, inspection reports, and test reports.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures for building construction activities.
• Inspect construction work and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections for RCC, structural works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Check the quality of incoming construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, tiles, etc.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement, shuttering, and other critical construction activities.
• Ensure proper execution of cube tests, material tests, and other required quality tests.
• Maintain inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Prepare and maintain ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), Method Statements, and Quality Checklists.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved standards.
• Assist in internal and external quality audits.
• Coordinate with laboratories for material and concrete testing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and safety/quality procedures.

Candidates with experience in residential buildings, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
