Job summary

Zen Technologies Limited is seeking a Civil Construction Quality Engineer to ensure civil works comply with drawings, IS codes and ISO 9001 standards. You will develop and implement QC plans, inspection test plans, and ensure defect-free delivery.

Travel to customer sites across India is mandatory; strong documentation, reporting, and coordination with clients, consultants and third-party inspectors are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Civil Engineering required.
• 3–10 years’ experience in civil construction quality.
• Knowledge of IS codes, ISO 9001, drawings & specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure civil construction activities meet drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ITPs.
• Review material submittals and test certificates.
• Coordinate lab and field testing.
• Monitor quality of earthwork, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, formwork.
• Conduct stage-wise inspections with checklists.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors.
• Monitor CAPA closures and preventive actions.
• Travel to customer locations across INDIA.

Quality / Projects Reports To: QA Manager Job Purpose

• Ensure all civil construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards
• Deliver defect-free construction Key Responsibilities Quality Planning & Documentation
• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP)
• Develop and control ITPs(Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, checklists
• Maintain quality records as per ISO 9001 requirements Material Quality Assurance
• Review and approve material submittals and test certificates
• Ensure materials comply with IS / ASTM / project specifications
• Coordinate laboratory and field testing Construction Quality Control
• Monitor quality of earthwork, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, formwork
• Verify execution as per approved drawings and method statements Inspection & Testing
• Conduct stage-wise inspections as per check list
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
• Monitor CAPA closure and preventive actions
• Reduce rework through root cause analysis Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with construction, planning, procurement, safety teams

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
