SVKM seeks a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer to plan and supervise construction activities on large-scale projects near Mumbai. You will coordinate with architects, consultants and contractors to ensure timely on-site execution.

The role requires a BE in Civil, 5–6 years site experience, knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, and proficiency in the local language. You will maintain records, run design reviews online or at office, and drive value engineering and safety compliance.

Qualifikationen

• B.E. (Civil Engineering) is required.
• Courses in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 05-06 years’ experience on construction site.
• Experience on big projects (~25-50 acres).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, reporting and MS Office.
• Proficiency in local language (written and spoken).

Aufgaben

• Plan and schedule all project activities per timelines.
• Ensure timely work execution on site.
• Coordinate with Architects, Consultants and Contractors.
• Conduct online or in-office Project/Design Review meetings.
• Prepare agendas and minutes, circulate to all.
• Maintain site records (inventory, drawing register, etc.).
• Identify delays and initiate corrective action.
• Invite quotes from local vendors for comparison.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Prepare MIS reports to aid decision making.
• Minimize material wastage and suggest value engineering.
• Ensure work is completed per schedule via coordination.
• Any other work assigned from time to time.

Experience:

1. Minimum 05-06 years’ experience on construction site.
2. Experience in executing various big Projects of approx. 25-50 acres’ land is needed.
3. Well conversant with design and construction aspect of Civil, Structural and Architectural.
4. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Computerized reporting and MS Office package is must.
5. Knowledge of local language written and spoken mandatory.

Job Description:

1. Should plan and schedule all the project activities as per the timelines.
2. Ensuring timely work execution on site.
3. Liaison with Architects, Consultants and Contractors to have smooth functioning at site.
4. Conduct Project Review and Design Review meetings on-line and if required in office.
5. Prepare Agenda and then minutes of the meeting and circulate to all.
6. Maintain all the desired records at site like inventory management, RIF register, drawing register, non-compliance register, etc.
7. Identify slippages/delays and initiate corrective action.
8. Whenever required, invite quotes from local vendors to carry out comparison and submit
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental policies.
10. Prepare all MIS reports from time to time to facilitate decision making
11. Ensure minimum wastage of material at site and suggest value engineering to reduce the cost wherever required.
12. Ensure that the assigned work is completed as per the schedule by coordinating amongst the team members, contractors and consultants.
13. Any other work assigned from time to time.
