Job summary

Conex Metals is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Quality Control team at our Mumbai head office. You will interpret customer drawings and tolerances, measure parts with precision tools, and enter data into the ERP system.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and excellent written English. The role requires working in Nariman Point, Mumbai, in-office.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate will work in the Quality Control team in the head office at Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for:

• Understanding the customer drawings with tolerances
• Measuring the samples and goods produced using various tools
• Entering the data in the ERP
• Working with the Sales and Inquiry teams
• Corresponding with the customers
• Coordinating with the Suppliers
• Analyzing the customer complaints, root cause analysis, finding solutions to resolve the complaints

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate should be smart, have strong logic and engineering fundamentals. The candidate should be well versed with using Instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Thread Gauges, Profile Projector etc. He should be hard working and have good communication skills. Excellent written communication skills in English is a MUST.
